Why we exist
Trust is the currency of journalism.
In 2019, we started Logora with a simple observation: media outlets were spending fortunes producing journalism that their audiences could no longer talk about on their own websites. Comments had been quietly ceded to Facebook, Twitter, and Disqus. Newsrooms had lost the conversation, lost the data, and lost the relationship with readers most loyal to them.
Seven years later, we serve 23 publishers across Europe and Latin America, from regional papers to flagship titles. Our product is the result of years of editorial obsession, not feature-parity bingo. We help newsrooms reclaim the conversation, structure it into something readers want to come back to, and turn it into a measurable engine for retention and editorial signal.
We don't sell engagement. We sell trust, the kind that compounds when a publisher stops chasing platforms and starts treating its community as part of the editorial product.
What we believe
Three principles, no manifesto.
- 01
Owned by its people
The company's shareholders are its employees. No outside investor, no exit pressure. Our only obligation: to make online discussions as interesting and engaging as possible.
- 02
We read comments before articles
We're demanding about the quality of the content we read. We work to make your comment space as interesting as possible, and read your articles to help you come up with the best debate questions for your readership.
- 03
Inspired by offline democracy
We draw inspiration from the best online comment spaces and from how offline democratic deliberation actually works. The product is the result of years of editorial obsession, not feature-parity bingo.
