Free pilot · 30 days · no card

A 30-day test, on one section of your site.

You bring an editorial section, we bring the stack, three debate prompts, and a dashboard. No credit card, no commitment, no marketing follow-up if you walk away on day 30. The pilot is how every Logora newsroom started.

The 30-day plan

Day 0 to day 30, step by step.

  1. Day 0

    A 60-minute scoping call

We meet your editorial lead and your tech contact. We pick one section of your site to host the pilot, typically the highest-engagement vertical you already have (politics, opinion, society). We agree on three debate prompts your newsroom will frame in week 1.

  2. Days 1–3

Logora goes live on your domain

Your tech team drops a JavaScript snippet on the chosen section. SSO is wired to your existing reader account or paywall via OAuth, so subscribers comment in one click. Our team configures the moderation thresholds with your editor-in-chief. Total integration time across both sides : about 1.5 days.

  3. Days 4–30

Three debates run, your readers respond

Each week, the editorial team frames one debate question tied to a flagship article. Readers post arguments, vote on each other’s, the strongest contributions surface. We monitor moderation, fine-tune the AI thresholds in real time, and your editor gets a daily digest of what is happening in the thread.

  4. Day 30

You decide, with the numbers in hand

We meet again for a 60-minute review. You get a full dashboard : registered users generated, time-on-site for participants, retention cohort comparison against your baseline, moderation rate, debate engagement curves. You can renew on a one-year contract, extend the pilot, or walk away clean. No credit card was ever collected.

What you get

Everything Logora ships in production, on your pilot section.

  • 01

    One pilot section live

A single editorial section of your site (politics, opinion, regional, society, whichever fits) running Logora end-to-end.

  • 02

    SSO with your reader account

OAuth integration with your existing identity stack (paywall vendor, in-house DB, social SSO). One reader account, one funnel.

  • 03

    Three debate prompts framed

Together with your newsroom. We bring the playbook, your editor brings the editorial voice and the topic selection.

  • 04

    AI + human moderation

85% of contributions auto-handled by the AI pipeline. The remaining 15% queued for your moderator with keyboard shortcuts and reason templates.

  • 05

    Analytics dashboard from day one

Registered users, time-on-site for participants, debate participation rate, moderation rate, ARPU-band breakdown. Same dashboard your retention team would see in production.

  • 06

    Day-1 to Day-30 hand-holding

A Logora referent walks alongside your team for the entire month : moderation calibration, prompt-building review, dashboard read-outs.

The numbers we watch together

What a good pilot looks like.

These are the four signals we look at jointly with your team during the day-30 review. We do not pretend a pilot succeeds if the numbers say otherwise.

  • Reader registrations

Are debates generating new authenticated readers? At Milenio, debates became their fourth biggest source of new sign-ups.

  • Time on site

Do participants stay longer than the average reader on the same articles?

  • Moderation load

Is the AI handling 80%+ of the contributions, freeing your team for the borderline cases?

  • Editorial fit

Does the debate format feel like an extension of your newsroom's voice, or does it read like an outside SaaS bolted on?

Pilot FAQ

What every newsroom asks first.

Is the pilot really free, no card, no commitment?
Yes. We do not collect payment details before day 31. If on day 30 you decide the format does not fit your newsroom, we deactivate the widget and you walk away with a complete dataset, no invoice. The pilot is paid for by Logora as a business-development investment, the bet is that you will want to keep it.
What if we already use Disqus, Viafoura, OpenWeb, Coral, or an in-house comment system?
We co-exist for the pilot. Your existing comment system stays live on the rest of the site, Logora runs only on the section we agreed on. At the end of the pilot, if you renew, we walk you through the migration of comments, accounts, and SEO from your previous vendor. See the migration guide for how that works.
How much editorial work do we have to invest in the pilot?
About 4-6 hours of editorial time over the 30 days. The scoping call, three debate prompts to frame (45 min each with the editor-in-chief), one moderation calibration session, and the final review. Logora handles everything else.
Can we run the pilot on a subscriber-only section?
Yes. Many pilots are gated to authenticated subscribers, which lifts the quality of contribution from day one and gives your retention team a clear subscriber-attributed metric to track. SSO with your paywall handles this natively.
What technical setup do we need on our side?
A JavaScript snippet on the section template (5 minutes) and an OAuth client for SSO (about an hour for your auth team). No backend integration, no database migration during the pilot. The reader identity stays in your system, Logora stores only the engagement layer.
What if the moderation lets through something we would never publish?
You override in one click. The moderation admin gives your editor or head-moderator final authority, and the AI learns from every override. By the second week, the model is calibrated against your specific editorial line.
What happens to the comments and reader accounts at the end of the pilot, if we walk away?
You receive a CSV export of all contributions, votes, and registered users. Logora deletes everything from our database within 30 days. Your reader graph stayed in your system the whole time, since SSO was identity-first.

30 days from now, you know the answer.

Book the scoping call. We pick one section together, you walk into the pilot with three debate prompts in hand and a dashboard live within a week.
